We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team of talented professionals.
Some Job Functions for a Quality Technician:
- Performing inspections, testing, and audits on products and processes at various stages of production to ensure that Emco Wheaton standards and customer specifications are being maintained.
- Participate in failure analysis and investigations.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform all duties according to company standards and safety procedures while maintaining an acceptable attendance record.
- Work closely and coordinate with the Quality Manager, Engineering and Production to advance the mission of Emco Wheaton Retail in servicing our customers.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Ability to read engineering drawings, set up and read measuring equipment. (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
- Excellent math, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
- One year’s experience working in a quality control department or metrology lab. (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Organized self-starter who can work individually or as part of a team.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
