Emco Wheaton Retail, located in Wilson, NC, is a leading designer and manufacturer of service station products. Emco is a growing organization that is looking for talented professionals to lead the organization into the future. We are seeking a full-time Purchasing Associate to issue purchase orders and ensure timely product delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the purchasing of office and factory operating supplies
- Assist in obtaining vendor quotes and lead time
- Additional administrative tasks as assigned
- Interact with office and factory employees to obtain supplies and materials needed to enable them to perform their jobs
- Meet with suppliers to obtain quality products, materials, and services at cost-effective prices
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months’ purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in SAP preferred
Compensation commensurate with experience.
